About this site

After ICEY Guide is an independent, fan-run resource covering the ICEY universe sequel. It launched before the game released on purpose: the structure — guides, entity records, SEO foundation, search — is the part that can be built correctly in advance. Game content cannot, so it stays sparse until there is something true to put in it.

The site has two halves that are meant to stay separate. The editorial half holds long-form guides written for people searching for answers. The data half holds structured records for bosses, weapons and characters, each a small fixed-shape entry with a status and a source. A boss page and a guide about that boss are different things, and they are built as different things.

Editorial policy

How this site is written

  • Sources before sentences

    Every factual claim links to the official material it came from and records the date we last checked it. If a claim cannot be sourced, it does not ship.

  • Uncertainty is stated, not hidden

    Confirmed, unconfirmed and pre-release are separate, visible states — in the interface and in the structured data. Unknown values render as unknown rather than being quietly omitted.

  • Empty beats invented

    Sections with no verified information publish an explanation instead of placeholder content, and stay out of search engines until they carry real records.

  • Editorial and data stay separate

    Boss, weapon and character records are structured entries. Guides are articles. They link to each other but never merge, so the site can grow a database without rewriting its prose.
