After ICEY does not have a fixed release date yet. The official Steam listing carries a Q2 2027 window and a “Coming soon” state, which is the only release information the developers have published so far.
That distinction matters. A release window is a target a studio can move; a release date is a commitment. Treat Q2 2027 as the current plan rather than a guarantee, and expect the store page to be the first place a change appears.
What the store page confirms
The following details are stated directly by the official listing, not inferred:
| Detail | Value |
|---|---|
| Title | After ICEY |
| Release window | Q2 2027 |
| Status | Coming soon, wishlistable |
| Developer | TAMASHI GAMING |
| Publisher | TAMASHI GAMING |
| Platforms | Windows (Steam) |
| Genres | Action, Indie |
| Languages | English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese — all with full audio |
Two of these rows are worth reading carefully.
Windows only. The listing does not offer macOS or Linux, and there is no console, mobile or cloud version mentioned. If a console release is planned, it has not been announced.
Developer and publisher are the same studio. TAMASHI GAMING appears in both fields. For context, the original ICEY (2016) was developed by FantaBlade Network and published by XD. Neither store page states what the relationship between those teams is, so it would be wrong to claim one here — it is simply an open question worth watching.
What is not announced yet
Everything below is unknown as of 2 October 2026. We list it so you can tell the difference between “we have not found this” and “this has not been said”:
- An exact release date, or a launch window narrower than a quarter
- Price, editions, pre-order bonuses or a deluxe bundle
- Any platform other than Windows on Steam
- Whether early access or a public demo is planned
- Localisation beyond the three languages already listed
How we handle release-date changes
When a release window shifts, we update the existing article and its updatedDate rather than publishing a near-duplicate page. That keeps one canonical URL for release information, which is better for readers and avoids two pages competing for the same query.
If you want to track the announcement yourself rather than through us, the official Steam page is the primary source, and wishlisting it is the only current way to get a release notification.
