After ICEY Guide is now live as an independent resource for the ICEY universe sequel.

We are starting before release, which is an unusual time to launch a guide site. The alternative — waiting for launch day and then trying to cover everything at once — is how sites end up publishing plausible-sounding filler. So we are doing the opposite: build the structure now, fill it only with sourced facts, and leave the rest visibly empty.

What we publish

  • Released game facts only. Every factual claim carries a source link and a date we last checked it.
  • Explicit labels for uncertainty. Confirmed, unconfirmed and pre-release are distinguished everywhere, including inside the structured data.
  • Editorial explainers where you would expect a guide: release information, announced mechanics, setting and cast.
  • A structured entity layer for bosses, weapons and characters, separate from editorial pages.

What we will not publish

We will not invent boss names, weapon lists, tier rankings or statistical tables. There are no tier lists, build guides, maps, achievement lists, codes or team compositions on this site yet — not because we forgot, but because none of those sections can contain anything true about a game that has not been released.

Every one of those sections will open only when real game mechanics justify it.

Why the site looks like this

The design is deliberately restrained: a near-black base, high-contrast type and a single cool accent. It borrows the tone of the ICEY universe without imitating the official site, and it carries no heavy animation or tracking scripts. Pages are static files, which keeps them fast on a phone and cheap to host.

What happens next

As official material arrives — a fixed date, named bosses, detailed abilities — it lands in one of two places: a sourced editorial guide, or a structured entity record. Nothing gets duplicated across both.

Corrections are welcome and are treated as a priority. If we have something wrong, tell us and we will fix it with a visible note rather than a silent edit.
